Rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming BLM mustangs.
"It all began with a Wild Mustang named Klay. In September 2023, we rescued Klay, a five-year-old bay gelding Mustang who had been living in a holding pen, uncertain of his future. Klay’s strength, spirit, and potential touched our hearts, and we knew that we had to do more to give Mustangs like him a second chance at life. That’s how Herd of Hope: Second Chance Mustangs was born."
Klay’s rescue marked the beginning of our mission to provide a safe haven and forever homes for Mustangs who have been displaced, abandoned, or left without opportunity. Since then, we’ve dedicated ourselves to giving every Mustang the same chance Klay received—freedom, love, and the chance to thrive.
Join us on our journey as we create new beginnings for Mustangs and give them the second chance they deserve.
We offer a variety of programs focused on the care, training, and adoption of mustangs. Through educational workshops and community involvement, we aim to spread awareness about the importance of wild mustang preservation and responsible ownership.
There are many ways to support Herd of Hope Second Chance Mustangs, from volunteering your time to making a donation. Your contributions help us provide food, shelter, and medical care for our rescued wild mustangs, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Help us make a difference by making a donation to Herd of Hope Second Chance Mustangs. Every contribution counts!
